Can you tell us all about what you get up to at the weekend using the time adverbials below.

For example:

In the morning, I was so excited to have pancakes for breakfast.  Before long, it was time to go to football.  After that, we went for a walk.

Challenge: What other writing features could you include? Noun phrases, speech or a range of conjunctions (because, yet, if, although)

Can you describe the picture below using prepositions.

Prepositions tells you where something is in relation to other objects in the room.  For example: The white snow is on top of the fir trees that are directly infront of the warm cave.

Challenge: Can you add some adjectives (describing words) to your sentences?
